Highland Hills United Church offers combined In-Person and Zoom services at 9:30 am.
Rev. John and Thea Patterson would like to invite their church friends and family for a fun evening of high-quality music…An “Opera Event” will be held at Abbey Gardens tent, August 5th at 7:30 pm. Opera Trainees from the Margison training programme will sing their favourite songs, mostly probably not opera 😉 Admission by Donation.
It is not too late to join the Brooksong Walkers for a stroll as they raise money for the Brooksong Retreat and Cancer Support Centre. The Brooksong Walkers invite you to consider joining them each Tuesday morning at 9:30 am at various locations. Please contact Pat Thornett at 705-286-3026 to find out the location. HHUC will be supporting YWCA / HERS again this year in August. Watch for upcoming details.
Diner’s Club: Our Diner’s Club convener this year is Marie Lennard, and it is being held on the second Thursday of every month; next one is on Thursday August 14th If you are interested in any future dinners, please call Marie to get on the calling list at 705-286-3037.

UPCOMING: Ice Cream Social You are invited to join with your HHUC church family after our morning church service on August 10th for a delicious ice cream treat.
Glena Koehler will be showing studio art works: drawings, paintings and ceramics from studies for her BFA, 1992 at Concordia University, Montreal. Hopefully, browsing will stimulate your own creative spirit. Sunday, August 10th 11:30am-4:30pm Stanhope Community Hall 1095 N. Shore Rd. cash sales optional: $50-$200 A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Brooksong Retreat and Cancer Support Centre.
