  Highland Hills United Church offers combined In-Person and Zoom services at 9:30 am. Masking is welcomed.

  If there have been changes to your address or your phone number please let the church office know by Friday May 17th.  You may pick up your copy of the updated “Church Roster” to insert into your Photo Directory from the church office or on Sundays, starting Sunday June 2nd.

  May 5 is the National Day for Awareness of Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG), also known as “Red Dress Day”, coined by Métis artist Jamie Black as “an aesthetic response to this critical national issue”. Canadian history has contributed to the ongoing violence of Indigenous women and girls in Canada. As a result, violence against Indigenous women, girls and 2SLGBTQQIA+ people is disproportionately high. On May 5, we honour the lives of MMIWG by raising awareness of this ongoing national tragedy, and we hold in our thoughts the families and communities who live with the grief of losing loved ones. To raise awareness and pay tribute on this day wear red.

  Diner’s Club: Our Diner’s Club convener this year is Marie Lennard and it is being held on the second Thursday of every month; next on is on May 9th.  If you are interested in any future dinners, please call Marie to get on the calling list at 705-286-3037.
