Are you interested in becoming a New Member or Transferring your membership to Highland Hills United Church? Show your support of our Community of Faith by Professing your Faith on a Sunday and renewing your enthusiasm for God’s mission. Speak to Rev. Max to pick a date that works best for you.

Diner’s Club: Our Diner’s Club convener this year is Marie Lennard, and it is being held on the second Thursday of every month; next one is on Thursday November 13th If you are interested in any future dinners, please call Marie to get on the calling list at 705-286-3037.
Fall Book Study - How We Learn to be Brave: Decisive Moments in Life and Faith, Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde - copies $15 each!! Oct 14th to Nov 18th – Tuesdays at 10:00 AM
Elder Wisdom Circle will resume meeting the 3rd Wednesday of each month as an on-going group. Next date is November 19th at 1:30 Lower Level For more information you may call Rev. Anne at 705-489-2059 or Debbie at 705-928-8065.
An Affirming Working Group Event: Join us for a potluck dinner and presentation on Friday October 17th at 5:30 pm in the Lower Level of HHUC. Ken Beardsall and Meeka will tell us about Living in Canada’s North. Ken has spent many years living in Nunavut and working as a teacher and principal. He is still involved in northern projects. Meeka is Inuit with many tales to tell. Come and hear about some of the joys of northern living as well as some past injustices.
This is an all-ages event . Consider inviting your neighbours and friends.
