If you know of any children interested in singing Christmas songs, they can contact Canoe FM at 705-457-1009 or the studio@canoefm.com to take part in the “Canoe FM Kid’s Christmas Singing Project” to record songs to play on the radio.

Haliburton County Folk Society Concert Saturday October 25, 2025, 7:30 pm @ HHUC ~
Mimi O’Bonsawin is a contemporary roots singer-songwriter born in Northeastern Ontario and is mixed French Canadian & Abénaki, a member of Odanak First-Nation. Through her rhythm and story-driven songs, Mimi’s music embraces the beauty of the Land. The ethereal quality of her music whisks you away with uplifting melodies and introspective lyrics that weave pop sensibilities with acoustic instruments. Local singer/songwriter Randall Ellsworth will open the show. This will be a magical evening of music that will fill your spirit!
